FAQs for terms of doing business with Tree Of Life Woodworking

These terms and conditions apply to all website use, purchases, and interactions. Any funds paid towards any order means you are in agreement to the policies outlined here.

  • With any order you commission, If the price is above $500 before tax, I will ask that 50% be paid upfront and the remainder due upon completion. If extravagant materials are necessitated for a particular project… this percentage maybe subject to change. If the order is less than $500 before tax, I will ask for the full amount being paid upon commissioning the project to be made.

  • Being a small business, and each project I do being a custom item, I cannot at any time offer refunds. This even includes the initial 50% payment for orders, because I order the materials for your project way in advance so the wood has time to acclimate before I start actively working with it.

Any payment made to Tree Of Life Woodworking means you are agreeing to this policy.

You further agree not to file disputes, chargebacks, or claims through your financial institution or payment processor to evade this policy. If attempted, Tree Of Life Woodworking may:

    • Defend the claim with evidence of your agreement (e.g., order confirmations, receipts).

    • Recover associated costs, including fees, legal expenses, and damages.

    • Terminate current or future business with you.

All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges. No exceptions.

  • I am willing to work with you at any time regarding modifications to existing orders. Please just note that I do have to charge extra for any additional labor/material/design time etc. that is associated to these changes.

  • For anything such as claims that the finish-quality is not acceptable such as scratches or blemishes etc, I expect customers to reach out within 24 hours of receiving the item to notify me of this so I can quickly resolve. If you reach out later and try to claim a scratch is on the item, I will not be willing to correct it because it may not have been me.

If there is a structural flaw or manufactural flaw that causes a piece to break due to something I did wrong in crafting it, I will handle those on a case by case basis to provide a resolution. Thankfully, this has never yet happened.
